Worked with students in a punitive alternative educational center and motivated them to become “learners”- Worked virtually with students during the COVID crisis from multiple centers around the country - Transformed students from “math avoiders” to “math performers”- Taught students math reading comprehension in order to dissect word problems into terms that they can understand. With this ability, the student can convert these words into the correct mathematical calculations in order to solve word problems by themselves correctly.
