Responsible for the overall directing, planning, organizing, execution and day to day Information Systems (I.S.) Operations while also managing the Service Desk team. • Develop and implement systems and strategies that promote efficient, secure, and cost effective services • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with business unit leads. Ensure projects stay on scope, on time, and meet or exceed business expectations • Develop, implement, and maintain policies, procedures, and associated training plans for infrastructure administration and project management • Create plans and provide hands-on support during emergencies, outages, and service transitions • Define hardware and software standards in conjunction with owners and stakeholders • Manage Service Desk process, budget, and staff for smooth, responsive operations • Serve as a Tier 3 escalation point for I.S. team to help and guide solutions • Monitor network traffic for bottlenecks and network weaknesses • Practice I.S. asset management, including maintenance of component inventory and related documentation. • Demonstrate leadership and personnel/project management skills. • Direct and administrate a small team of I.S. Support Specialists
