ABOUT RICHARD DO
I’m an undergraduate student at the University of Virginia pursuing a B.A. in Computer Science with a minor in Data Science and Data Analytics. I’m passionate about leveraging technology to drive meaningful change, with hands-on experience across IT operations, project management, marketing strategy, and software development. I currently serve as an Information Technology Intern at IREX, supporting global operations through infrastructure management, asset tracking, and technical support. Previously, I led internal projects as a Project Manager at Resilience, Inc, and contributed to digital communications and youth development initiatives as an Administrative Assistant at Youth-Nex. My background also includes customer-facing and operational roles, as a Shift Lead at TeaDM Lounge and as a Cashier/Cook in my family’s food business, where I honed leadership and service skills. I’ve also spearheaded campus engagement as a DoorDash Campus Launcher and helped shape digital experiences as the Marketing Chair for HooHacks and the Webmaster for the UVA Asian Student Union. With proficiency in Python, Java, web technologies, and tools like Git and SQL, I enjoy building scalable solutions, including personal projects like a daily reminder web app. I’m excited to continue applying my skills in dynamic environments that blend technology, collaboration, and impact.
