Richard is an accomplished Senior Executive and Board Member with more than 25 years of success across public and private consumer products/retail/ecommerce, information services and technology, engineering, non-profit and small business entities. He participates in business acquisitions, angel investing opportunities, private money loans/leases, and real estate transactions. Richard has managed a successful sale of a private company and concluded two asset purchase transactions, successfully navigating SBA funding for his own and other business owners. Richard has unique global market experience having completed substantial engagements for companies in Russia, China, and Mexico and also business expansion of retailers to/from UK, Japan, Canada and US. Richard is practiced at complex deals with multi-country and multi-entity solutions; intellectual property; service-based contracting; and, unique deal shapes such as value-based or long-term service outsourcing. During 17 years in various Board of Dir. officer and executive committee roles with the non-profit, International Institute in St. Louis and Minneapolis, Richard guided leadership succession and coaching and instituted initiatives to reinvigorate strategic planning and implementation leading to new services and income/grant sources.
