ABOUT RICHARD COATESWORTH

I’m an experienced Head of Projects, Engineering and Operations who is skilled in driving productivity and profitability.With 6 years\' experience in project management, 11 years’ in operational management and 15 years in engineering design within mobile, defence and space industries, I bring a wealth of knowledge and a proven track record in helping companies delivery complex products from cradle to grave. Working within senior leadership teams to develop and achieve business goals.I consider myself to be an inspirational, collaborative, hands on leader who drives employee engagement and high standards company wide. Building and developing teams, synchronising personal and business objectives which increase productivity and success throughout.Some of my key achievements consist of; Securing $120M contract to manufacture flexible channeliser and filters for OneWeb Satellites, a 650-satellite LEO constellation to provide global broadband internet. Reducing annual contract engineering cost by £1M through a scheme of rationalising skills, identifying and transfer to permanent roles plus driving completion of languishing projects. Instrumental in the setup and establishment of UK, India and China operations including engineering, project management, procurement, sales and production. Managing a team of over 70 people based in UK, India and China including engineering, sales, procurement, accounting, procurement, manufacturing, quality and engineering.
