Manage the provision of Facility Management and MRO Purchasing services to the UK & I business. Proactively engage with the business leadership across the UK & I to provide a business infrastructure which meets the current and forecast demands of the business. Ensure that the performance of these business services are subject to a continuous improvement process, are delivered in an effective and efficient manner and provided in line with agreed timelines and budgets.• Engage directly with the senior management team to ensure a business infrastructure is provided which meets the current and forecast business requirements• Set the strategic direction for the Facility Management / MRO Purchasing team to ensure alignment with UK & I business objectives• Lead refurbishment / relocation projects and provide technical assistance.• Manage Facilities and MRO Purchasing staff to meet the requirements of the UK & I Emerson Process Management business• Ensure continuous improvement of UK & I property portfolio and the associated property costs demonstrating innovation, value add and savings• Ensure the UK & I Facilities and MRO Purchasing processes are compliant to all Corporate / Customer / Legal Health and Safety and Environmental requirements• Act as single point of contact for all third party facility service providers• Provide safe, timely and effective response to requests for all Facility / MRO Purchasing related activities across UK & I sites• Act as a key team member of the UK & I Business Services / Compliance Team• Responsible for the effective management and reporting of the UK & I Facilities & MRO Purchasing cost centres budgets• Ensure full compliance with legal and Company requirements with regards to Trade Compliance and Ethical Business and follow necessary procedures
