Whether looking at how connected and autonomous vehicles will impact our cities or how we can meet the UK’s growing data needs, through to how companies can improve their workplace environment or how to digitise road and rail.As Project Controls Director within the Mobility PMCM business, it is my charge to drive continuous improvement and consistency in delivery in planning & scheduling, programme and project controls throughout our team and beyond. To this end, within my role I undertake the following:– Planning & Scheduling Service Lead for Mobility GBA, covering leadership and support for all planning related project work across the division and tender work for the business unit. – Lead trainer for the Arcadis Project Controls Academy – APMG certified. Delivering Planning & Project Controls training courses both internally and externally, to the UK and internationally– P3M3 Assessor – Lead assessor to the Resilience Global Business Area in the UK– Global Service Expert Group – Section Lead (Planning & Scheduling)– People First Working Group Social Engagement Lead– Leader within the Communities of Practice for Program and Project Controls, Planning, and Acumen Fuse– Building the Mobility Program and Project Controls team organically, both locally and UK wideFrom a project delivery perspective; I presently reside as Schedule Improvements Lead for the Integration Partnership at the Lower Thames Crossing programme (~£10bn). Most recently I spent 18 months as Head of Change Management on Network Rail\'s flagship TRU programme (~£11bn), prior to this I led our commissions with National Highways delivering their PMB intervention programme supporting their Major Projects team in setting PMB\'s across their portfolio, and their RIP South Integrated Project Controls implementation. Furthermore, leading programme management / controls for a commission with the Defence Infrastructure Organisation, driving a programmatic approach through their SLA programme.
