My research is in systems and control theory and its application to advanced manufacturing systems. Some specific projects include Modeling, design, control, and data analytics for monoclonal antibody, vaccine, and gene therapy manufacturing. Design of automated, integrated, modular systems for the manufacturing of (bio)pharmaceutical drug products employing process modeling and intensification and imaging- and laser-based sensing systems.
