About Richard Anter

I\'ve always been curious about how the world works. For computers, it started when I disassembled - much to my parents\' chagrin - and reassembled my first, a generic 386SX-33, at the age of 8, just to see how it worked; curiosity driving the pursuit of knowledge. When I was 11, I started my own computer repair company, C.H.i.P.(Computer Help in Person), locally repairing computers, fixing printer issues and configuring home networks. In high school, I - and 2 other friends - represented the first \"Advanced Computer\" class in the school. Instead of typing - which we tested out of - we worked on old computers, salvaging working parts, and using them to fix and upgrade other school machines. While in high school, I was offered my first job at a local computer parts store when I went in looking for a very specific part, and I ended up in a very technical conversation with the owner. Then, and every day since, my curiosity has continued to drive me to the far reaches of the technology and business worlds.I\'ve been part of a family business, I\'ve run my own businesses, I\'ve worked for small and large businesses, I\'ve traveled to 30 countries to work with businesses, and one thing remains constant: the team is the most important unit in the world. Strong teams make strong organizations. The individual is vitally important, but only as important as they strengthen the team of which they\'re a crucial part. Helping teammates realize their strength and value - from all stakeholders - is the reinforcement needed to make teams - and ultimately organizations - great!
