I also focus on strategic transactions, patent prosecution, trade secrets, licensing, and portfolio management with an emphasis in the electrical and computer arts including optics, lasers, encryption and encoding, semiconductors, electrical circuits, computer software, and telecommunication technologies. I have represented clients in a wide range of industries, including Avid Technology, Carnegie Mellon University, Conagra, Educational Testing Service, Marvell Semiconductor, SAP, Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company, and many others.Prior to joining Reed Smith, I was part of an intellectual property practice at a large international law firm. Prior to becoming an attorney, I worked as an electrical engineer for Raytheon Integrated Defense Systems and held leadership positions as a software consultant and project manager for Hexagon AB.
