This Independent Review Function (“IRF”) has been developed in line with applicable Multi-Jurisdictional Regulators\' rules and regulations to establish a process for the independent review of new and existing rating methodologies, models and criteria (“Methodologies”), and key underlying risk drivers and stress multiples. The IRF reviews Methodologies so that they meet regulatory requirements and adhere to internal processes as detailed in the Methodology Development and Modification Global Policies, and the regional IRF and Methodology Development Team (“MDT”) Procedures and Guidance documents, as applicable. The IRF responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the IRF reviews are also intended to promote consistency across all Methodologies, as appropriate, review and validate of rating Methodologies used to determine and monitor credit ratings for structured finance and corporate sectors. Lead in all aspects of transaction rating process, including: evaluating ratability of a transaction, due diligence, determination/creation of applicable credit methodologies, credit and legal analysis of document review, prepare written analytical reports and closing of transactions. Historically, developed rating methodologies and rated structured finance transactions for transportation/operating assets, equipment leasing and esoteric asset classes.
