With over 17 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, I have held various positions from CRA to CTM, eventually progressing to Global Head of Clinical Operations. I have been involved in all aspects of global clinical development and have gained a wealth of knowledge and expertise in this field.In my current role, I am responsible for building and leading a high-performance team, managing various stakeholders both internally and externally, and overseeing clinical trial management activities to ensure that all deliverables are of high quality, within budget, and timeline. I provide strategic planning and management to successfully execute cross-functional activities globally, driving countries/sites selection, study start-up, patient recruitment, database lock, and study reports. Additionally, as part of the Clinical Development leadership team, I provide guidance and leadership to continuous improvement activities that impact global systems and processes, ensuring consistency and best practices are utilized by all team members.

   The Vice President, Clinical Operations is responsible for leading the Clinical Operations function within the Clinical Research and Development organization of Nuvation Bio. The VP, Clinical Operations creates and executes clinical trial action plans, develops an empowered team, and drives operational excellence through process improvement and knowledge sharing. The role involves leading the global clinical operations team to execute clinical trial programs, attracting and retaining high-performance team members, ensuring consistent high-quality project management, and ensuring strategic planning and execution of clinical trials. The VP also shapes the Clinical Operations strategy, identifies clinical program/resource gaps, maintains relationships with clinical investigators and external service providers, and focuses on establishing and maintaining inspection-readiness. The role involves overseeing the life cycle budget, ensuring optimal resourcing, and leading the development of department processes and best practices.
