ABOUT RICHARD WOOD
A Chartered Structural Engineer, Richard graduated from Cambridge in 2002 and joined MLM as a graduate engineer, where he developed his technical and management skills delivering engineering projects both on time and on budget to Developers, Private Clients and Contractors. He has worked both within and leading design teams on projects up to £200m in value in the UK and Europe, and understands the value that can be added to a project by early engagement between engineers and clients before schemes are fixed, especially if the wider Multi-Disciplinary team can be engaged to identify and manage risk.Following a 5 year term as Head of Structures for Sweco after their acquisition of MLM in 2019, Richard has joined the newly formed 5DM Group to Lead the Cambridge Hub and the Logistics Sector.
