ABOUT RICHARD WINTER
I will be returning to the UK in July and looking for a new role ideally in Birmingham or the West Midlands. I have strong communication skills, being comfortable writing copy for comms and presenting to large audiences. I am a creative problem solver who is driven to improve processes and use data effectively to assess outcomes. My interests are STEM, education, sustainability and social mobility and it is important to me that my work makes a difference. While I have succeeded in a broad range of roles in the school, museum and corporate sectors, the common thread in my career has been helping young people to access opportunity through education. As a teacher, science communicator and Education Manager, I have been motivated by the power of education to drive social mobility and reduce inequality and the importance of raising young people\'s awareness and understanding of environmental issues.
