My job is both exciting and challenging in equal measure and generally consists of - Dealing with trade and end user enquiries in a timely and efficient manner - Personally responsible for circa £2m in sales in 2015- Office management - Managing our York depot of circa 30 employees- Strategic development- Setting the overall directives for the business and implementing these on an operational level- Developing product lines - Helped to develop and market our line of new cabins - Britcab Britannia and Britcab Guardian - Purchasing - Purchasing assets from a large variety of sources. Personally sign off every invoice that comes into the firm and ensuring best value at all times- Website development - Recently revamped our industry leading website to give greater emphasis on new products and ensure more user friendly on tablets/phones - Develop and maintain good relations with a number of other traders and industry figures - Ensuring Brticab become the \'go to\' guys for other companies in the portable building industry- Employee relations - Ensuring employees are kept involved and feel valued at all times. Increasing the number of apprenticeships at our York depot and championing employee development- Debt management - Ensuring aged debt kept to an absolute minimum and agreeing suitable terms with prospective and existing customers. Marketing - Large input into the companies marketing strategy both online and physical. Stock Knowledge - Ensuring I know where each and every asset has been purchased from, how much we have paid for it and how much it is worth. Ensuring this information is relayed to the team so instant answers can be given to prospective customers. And much more! Educated to masters level, I am happy to get involved in any and all facets of the business and enjoy \'getting my hands dirty\'.
