ABOUT RICHARD WHITING
I am passionate about bringing technical skill and entrepreneurial drive to address the challenges of achieving a zero carbon energy system. My technical grounding comes over 20 years of consultancy within the renewables sector, staring in at Garrad Hassan with a focus on wind and energy analyses. Through various roles with industry groups such as the IEC, MEASNET, and the Power Curve Working Group as well as internal roles I\'ve spent much of my time adding to the science and driving innovation in methods. I\'ve led the expansion of various teams into numerous new markets over the last 20 years, and am often drawn to projects with wider strategic impact such as World Bank initiatives. In 2015 with five co-founders we started Everoze; a new consultancy with a fresh way of working, seeking to have significant impact on our energy system. We look for opportunities for partnership, and in 2020 we acquired 49.9% of Brightwind, creating a platform for future innovation and collaboration.
