In the role of Technical Mega Event Specialist, I am one of UK Sport’s team who works specifically on the UK’s programme of Mega events, working with colleagues from across the UK’s leading host cities and UK Government- Facilitate high profile and successful bid outcomes for the UK’s targeted list of Mega Events- Work closely with NGB/Government partners to deliver high quality feasibility and host selection processes- Ensure UK Sport and UK Government can make informed investment decisions for public funds- Relationship manage key strategic relationships, internationally and nationally- Deliver against key strategic outcomes – across city, national, sport and International Federation partners- Championing the highest levels of integrity and ED & I, and create meaningful Social Impact programmes
