As a CMC Leader in Medicine Development and Supply I have accountability for providing CMC Leadership across a portfolio of early to mid stage assets (currently focussed in the Global Health space, mainly in TB, malaria and kinetoplastid diseases). As well as providing CMC, supply chain and development expertise into the project teams for the individual molecules I lead multifunctional technical teams for each of the assets composed of chemists, formulators, analysts, material scientists, engineers and regulatory experts. Our aim is to deliver CMC packages suitable for late stage development, pivotal clinical supply and commercialisation whist at the same time expediting rapid early progression into man and proof of concept clinical studies.
