Richard is a Senior Electrical Engineer and Acoustics Engineer with 18+ years of experience. Team roles include Electrical Supervisor and Mentor for the Quad City healthcare team. Corporate roles include Quality Assurance, Fire Alarm & Mass Notification Segment Leader, and Quad City Oce Sustainability Leader. He develops proposals and fee structures, coordinates project stang and schedules, and reviews construction budgets. Richard is a technical resource for his colleagues and is the “go-to” for complicated projects. He is procient in Revit and associated sofware plaforms and understands how to leverage modern technology to improve workow and overall quality. Richard is a strong public speaker and is comfortable leading discussions and resolving dicult scenarios with honesty and integrity. PROJECT EXPERIENCE Richard has worked on over 500 projects, with over $6 billion in construction, in a combination of healthcare, education, industrial, and governmental projects. He has project management experience leading electrical, mechanical, plumbing, re protection, technology, structural, and civil engineering scopes. Electrical experience includes lighting, power systems, electrical distribution systems, standby power systems, re alarm systems, and mass notication systems. Acoustical experience includes room acoustics, noise and vibration isolation, eld measurements and eld analysis. He has extensive experience with site investigations and eld observations, including assessments of existing electrical systems and real-time problem-solving. Richard understands the importance of early and frequent coordination with team members, stakeholders, and equipment vendors; and he is active through construction to ensure successful execution. Project history includes greeneld buildings, building additions and remodels, infrastructure assessments and upgrades, equipment replacements, outage mitigation planning, facility condition assessments, and campus master planning. Richard volunteers to speak at local schools and teaches evening classes at Blackhawk College for 3D Printing and Home Wiring. He actively designs and wires electronics and audio equipment for a wide variety of classic, modern, and extreme vehicles; and he enjoys canoe camping in the BWCAW.

   Acoustical and Electrical design experience on healthcare, education, commericial, government, athletic, and performing arts projects. With my electrical engineering background, I apply my knowledge of architectural lighting design, electrical power distribution, emergency power system design, and fire alarm system design to enhance my acoustics role on the design team. I happily collaborate with the entire design team to identify and isolate noise and vibration sources, determine optimal architectural acoustics finishes, design voice notification systems, and provide acoustical testing.
