ABOUT RICHARD TRACY
As the Deployment Manager at AFC Energy, I have over ten years of experience in the hydrogen fuel cell industry, where I combine my technical, operational, and managerial skills to deliver innovative energy solutions safely into real world applications such as the construction, EV charging and film industries as well as providing clean, temporary power for events. I have been involved in several ground breaking projects and partnerships, such as Extreme-E, where I managed the deployment, integration, and operation of AFC Energy\'s hydrogen fuel cell system in the most extreme and remote environments on Earth. I have also contributed to the development, testing, and optimization of hydrogen fuel cell systems, as well as the integration of upstream and downstream technologies, such as electrolysers, ammonia crackers, methanol reformers, battery energy storage systems (BESS), and power distribution systems. I have a proven track record of delivering high-quality results, exceeding customer expectations, and managing teams and facilities effectively and efficiently. Prior to this I have the advantage of 20 years of engineering & management experience in the electro-mechanical and motorsport sectors, giving me a broad and well rounded background.
