ABOUT RICHARD TRACY
I have over ten years of experience in the hydrogen fuel cell industry, from design and testing through to installation, integration and operation. As Deployment Manager I combine my technical, operational, and managerial skills to deliver hydrogen energy solutions safely into real world applications such as the Construction, EV charging and Film industries. I have experience of delivering several ground breaking projects, such as Extreme-E, where I led the deployment, integration, and operation of AFC Energy\'s hydrogen fuel cell system in the most extreme and remote environments on Earth. I was previously responsible for the testing, development and optimization of hydrogen fuel cell systems, as well as integration of upstream and downstream technologies, such as electrolysers, ammonia crackers, methanol reformers, battery energy storage systems (BESS), and power distribution systems. I have a proven track record of delivering high-quality results, exceeding customer expectations and managing projects, teams and facilities effectively. Prior to this I have the advantage of 20 years of engineering & management experience in the electro-mechanical and motorsport sectors, giving me a broad and well rounded background.
