ABOUT RICHARD S.

I have over 20 years Clinical Trial Experience from a conduct (MDS Harris) and clinical supply management perspective (Almac formerly Clinical Trial Services). A majority of this time has been spent working within Almac (since where I have served in various Business Development roles as an individual contributor, manager and leader. My Almac career began at Almac\'s European HQ, before I relocated to Almac\'s USA HQ in Pennsylvania (2001), where I was integral in establishing a new Business Development Team. I returned to Almac\'s European HQ in Oct 2005, and was appointed Head of Business Development (Europe). During this time Almac continued to show strong growth in our client base, service diversification and commercial position. While working within Almac I have gained valuable insights into the US, European and Global Clinical Trial Supply markets. In Feb 2014, I was promoted to the executive position of VP of Business Development (Europe). Key elements of the role include leading the European BD teams, managing BD activities globally, supporting the development of industry leading service propositions and delivering the planned strategic growth of Clinical Services. As part of our continued expansion Almac has established operational capabilities in both Singapore and Japan. I currently provide strategic leadership and direction for our rapidly growing and developing APAC BD Team.
