I am currently an Associate Director in the Security and Technology Engineering team at AECOM. The AECOM Security & Technology Engineering team is a specialist group within the Building + Places Division that provides specialist security and technology design and support services to complement and enhance the design activities of the building engineering teams. The buildings team consists of around 400 Engineers who work on large-scale construction projects and focus on project specialisms worldwide. This includes sectors such as commercial build and fit-out projects, government buildings, large mixed-used developments, and critical national infrastructure sites.My primary role is the design and implementation of comprehensive security strategies that protect people, assets, and critical infrastructure across diverse industries and geographies. This requires a combination of technical engineering, risk analysis, and stakeholder communication to deliver resilient, scalable, and future-ready security solutions.

I am a Chartered Engineer and Chartered Security Professional with specialist expertise in physical security design, corporate security, and major infrastructure projects.I work as a physical security design consultant, delivering risk-led, proportionate, and integrated security solutions across the built environment. I am committed to high-quality, ethical, and risk-based security design, and to mentoring the next generation of security engineers and consultants.
