About Richard Restuccia
My personal goals include promoting efficient irrigation and a commitment to the long-term sustainability of water resources for future generations.I have been associated with the green industry for over 25 years, currently as Senior Vice President at Husqvarna. In 2014 I was awarded the Leadership in Landscape award from Lawn and Landscape magazine. I served on The Irrigation Association’s Board of Directors, also the Government and Regulatory Affairs Committee, and was Co-chair of the Political Action Committee. I consult with many private companies and public agencies concerning water management. For many years, I was a presenter at the WaterSmart Innovations Conference and the Irrigation Association Conference, which discussed how contractors can help their customers save water and money. I have also appeared at the National Facility Management and Technology Conference and was a featured speaker at the Urban Sustainability Conference. In 2018 I became a Master Gardener. I created, produced, and hosted the Jain Irrigation Training Series. Over the past three years, we have trained over 200K individuals on how to conserve water. I created the water blog valleycresttakeson.com and Jain Irrigation\'s water blog.
