In I found myself at a crossroads. I was a young entrepreneur who had created and sold five companies. Intrigued by market dynamics, I joined Merrill that year. Doing so has allowed me to enhance the lives of U.S. clients whose visions are as bold as mine – and change the lives of people in Vietnam, Peru, Africa and the Mid East. Today, I serve a loyal circle of traditional and non-traditional clients for whom a distinct level of attention and acumen is required and appreciated. Some clients are fellow entrepreneurs. Others are leading professionals. Many have become my close friends. Each client can benefit from a defined wealth management strategy that I craft just for them. If clients don\'t know where they stand financially or what I think, I\'m not doing my job. That\'s why I communicate clearly and in timely fashion. Helping clients achieve meaningful goals is my greatest reward. WHAT DO I BELIEVE? • Face-to-face client meetings are a priority. I also host events at racetracks and golf courses. This allows me to connect with clients on many levels and connect them with others. • Clients deserve a level of trust with an advisor that extends beyond dollars and cents. When a client has surgery or a spouse passes, I\'m often at the hospital before other family members. • Superior wealth management demands my broad, long-term perspective. In addition to using the firm\'s in-depth research and external managers I\'ve known for years, I call upon Bank of America Private Bank specialists and coordinate with clients\' CPAs and attorneys. WHAT MAKES ME PROUD? Assisting in areas ravaged by war and poverty. Along with a respected non-profit, I flew back and forth to help arrange an agreement between Israel and The Palestinian Authority to remove land mines in the fields of Bethlehem. In Vietnam, I traveled with another non-profit that removed landmines from farm fields and fitted amputees with prosthetics. I\'ve also traveled to Peru to help supply medical equipment and medicine.
