Richard is a Chartered Architect and Company Director with over 30 years experience in the design and construction industry across a wide range of sectors including education, residential, commercial, healthcare and mixed use development, working on projects from concept design through to completion on site. Richard has run his own consultancy, parsonsarchitecture+design, over recent years, providing architecture, design consultancy and development services, and has recently merged his business into EDGINGTON SPINK + HYNE where he now works as an owner and director of the business. He previously worked with HLM Architects, where he was appointed Regional Director in 1993, a Director of the Company in and owner of the Business in 2004.Richard has gained a great deal of experience in business management alongside all forms of building procurement and project delivery, and has been a central figure in a number of key projects over the last few years. He continues to maintain a close involvement with project work, combining skilful design with solid practical and technical knowledge.
