Rick Ostroff is the President and CEO of Ostroff Associates, one of the premier government relations firms in New York State. He has been working in government and politics for over 35 years, providing effective and aggressive representation on a wide variety of issues on behalf of a diverse mix of clients. He founded the firm in 1995 and since then has led a team of experienced and hardworking professionals who have unparalleled access to decision-makers at all levels of government.Rick\'s core competencies include direct lobbying, lobbying, and government relations. He has successfully advanced some of the most complicated issues before policy makers and defended his client\'s business practices from challenges at all levels of government. His breadth of experience includes, but is not limited to, economic development, financial services, and tax. He has maintained long-standing relations in all branches of government, thanks to his previous roles as the Assistant for Legislative Affairs for Governor Mario Cuomo, the Director of the Environmental Bond Act, and the Legislative Coordinator for the New York State Consumer Protection Board.
