ABOUT RICHARD OROS
I started out 22 yrs. ago as an electrical contractor working at the Smelter for Kennecott in Utah. Transferred with the same company to Elko, NV where I attended the apprenticeship for four years. During this time I worked on constructing the Roaster for Barrick and many other projects in many different states. I continued working construction for 12 yrs. mostly commercial and light industrial. I came back to Barrick Nevada in 2011 as technician at the Roaster and then progressed through the ranks to Roaster Maintenance Superintendent. After a year and half there, I was transferred to the Autoclave in the same position.
