Oversee day-to-day operations of the Day Centre, ensuring effective support for vulnerable individuals with learning disabilities, physical impairments, and dementia2. Lead and support a multidisciplinary team, supervising staff performance, conducting regular appraisals, and facilitating professional development through eKSF3. Act as keyworker for service users, developing, reviewing, and maintaining person-centred care plans that align with Human Rights Legislation and National Care Standards4. Coordinate and evaluate recreational and therapeutic programmes tailored to individual needs, promoting dignity, independence, and quality of life5. Manage staff rotas to maintain safe staffing levels, and lead recruitment, induction, and onboarding of new team members6. Provide oversight for financial procedures including cash handling and banking, in accordance with organisational policies7. Ensure maintenance of premises and liaise with facilities to resolve building-related issues promptly8. Support rollout of new policies and protocols through team training and implementation9. Contribute to service improvement by auditing care programmes and proposing innovative, outcome-focused enhancements10. Provide cover for the Day Centre Manager as needed, ensuring continuity of care and leadership
