About Richard Newman
Industrial boiler reliability depends on consistent make up water quality—but aging pretreatment systems, shifting raw water conditions, and limited staffing make that difficult. When softeners, RO units, or demin systems drift out of spec, the effects show up quickly: scaling risk, efficiency loss, unexpected downtime, and added stress on operations, maintenance, and production.Across many facilities, the same patterns repeat. Most boiler issues start upstream with subtle make up water problems—hardness leakage, resin exhaustion, membrane fouling, or inconsistent regeneration. Plants collect data, but it’s rarely connected in a way that gives operators a clear picture of trends or early warnings. And performance improves fastest when operations, maintenance, and water treatment partners share the same understanding of what’s driving variability.I help industrial teams strengthen the reliability of their make up water systems by identifying what’s causing instability and turning those findings into clear, practical steps. My work focuses on reducing breakthrough events, improving RO and demin performance, tightening monitoring practices, and uncovering inefficiencies that lead to fuel waste and downtime. My approach is simple: understand the real conditions in the plant and support teams with actions that make day to day operations more reliable. If you’re working to improve make up water quality or reduce recurring boiler risks, feel free to reach out. I’m always open to a straightforward conversation about what you’re seeing and how I may be able to help.Feel free to email me at R•••••••@nanoh2owater.com or call me at 42••••••68
