Aviation professional with 20+ years of experience across safety, operations, air traffic control, and commercial flight operations. My career has given me a rare, end-to-end perspective on the aviation system, with expertise in air traffic management, SOP development, human factors, safety assurance, quality control, and incident and accident investigation.At the FAA, I helped develop and implement risk mitigation strategies within the National Airspace System, including corrective action planning and safety data analysis using ATSAP, CISP, and other FAA platforms. I also served as a certified radar controller at two of the nation’s busiest air traffic control facilities, operating in demanding, high-tempo environments where precision, situational awareness, and sound judgment are critical.I have worked closely with Quality Assurance teams, training and quality control departments, Aviation Safety Action Groups, FSDO offices, and Designated Pilot Examiners, giving me a strong understanding of safety culture, regulatory alignment, and operational excellence across multiple sectors of aviation.Now back on the flight deck as an Airbus pilot, I continue to build on that foundation while remaining actively involved in safety and leadership roles as a Line Observation Safety Auditor, ATC/Airports Committee Representative, and Chairperson of JetPride.I am passionate about advancing aviation safety, strengthening operational performance, and leading with professionalism, accountability, and respect.
