ABOUT RICHARD MORGAN
Currently Assistant Head (Extracurricular and Partnerships) with particular focus on the co-curricular programme, outreach and social impact in a co-educational day school in Cambridge. Previously I was Head of Sixth Form and have held a number of academic and pastoral roles. Classics is my classroom specialism but I also teach Sixth Form Research, PSHE and Emotional Wellbeing as well as coaching hockey, cricket and tennis.In addition to this, I have worked in the England Hockey Player Pathway including as Performance Centre U17 Girls’ Lead Coach at the Bury centre (East of England). I am currently Chair for Cambridge Talent Academy.As an educator I have become increasingly interested in management and whole-school strategy. A role as a Link Governor for SEND and Pupil Premium at Bottisham Village College further broadened my involvement in strategic oversight.
