Working as a SC security cleared Enterprise Solutions Architect, specialising in cloud, networking and security, deploying new technologies and network services to a variety of Logicalis customers in the retail, legal, banking and public sectors. My role is customer facing and requires a detailed understanding of the customer’s business and technology needs to present robust, fit for purpose solutions.The role involves bid work, estimation, pre-sales, ROM costing, cloud deployments and the production of design, implementation and process documentation to enable delivery. I have gained experience of designing and deploying private, hybrid and public cloud solutions with fully automated (self service) deployment of virtual server environments to support multi-tiered application services. My designs have included software integration of datacentre network infrastructure into greenfield Software Defined Datacentre solutions (SDDC); Cisco ACI/Nexus 9k, VMWare vRealise (vRA) and integration with F5 BIG-IP via BIG-IQ (LTM, GTM (site selection), ASM, APM, and AFM) to perform dynamic load balancing configuration changes. The designs have required vRA integration with Infoblox for dynamic DNS and IPAM (DDI) solutions, and vRA integration with Palo Alto firewalls (Physical and Virtual) for dynamic rule base alignment. The network services deployed are able to support the full \"cradle to grave\" lifecycle of a dynamic SDDC.I have completed technical transition designs for the relocation of customers infrastructure and service into cloud/co-lo datacentres, with zero downtime of live service. This has required a solid understanding of Cisco Nexus, Cisco ASA, and of Cisco 6800 chassis and IA products.Versed in conducting network and security investigative health checks and the production of written reports intending to provide customers with options and recommendations for improvements, simplification, and rationalisation of infrastructure across global estates.
