I am a Technology Mentor and Instructor for advanced High School students in the field of advanced robotics, engineering design, and manufacturing engineering in the field of aquatic robotic underwater and above vehicles. Our students work on the funded project from major corporations to create for them robotic vehicles to survey lakes, underwater exploration, water purity measurements, and autonomous data gathering. Once the product vehicle is complete the students go into the field to operate their vehicles to gather the data for the customer. In some cases, the students go to remote locations, like Peru, with with the customer to train the customer on the use of the vehicle and learn more about what the customer will do with the vehicle. This allows the student to be better prepared to support them after going back home.Many of our students graduate and go onto major colleges like MIT, Air Force Academy, CU Boulder Aerospace and Robotics, School of Mines, etc.
