Clinical hematology and oncology specialist. University of Wisconsin IM Residency, Vanderbilt University Medical Center Fellow (chief). Prior Assistant Prof of Medicine at Meharry Medical College, where I served as medical director of the Meharry Sickle Cell Center and Co-Director of Oncology Clinical Trials. Currently working at Tennessee Oncology (Clarksville) with goals to increase outreach and access to high quality and patient centered cancer care. Major focus includes increasing health equity by improving access to both cancer research and standard of care delivery among vulnerable populations and those with challenging social determinants of health. Current board member and President Elect for Tennessee Oncology Practice Society (TOPS). Founding committee member for Appalachian Community Cancer Alliance (ACCA) leading a regional lung cancer screening initiative supported by cancer moonshot, BMS, and AZ.
