ABOUT RICHARD LOVATT

At the start, university was just a waste of time for me, not to say it\'s that way for everyone. But I was sat there one day thinking, wait a minute, that\'s another 5k+ down the drain. Who wants to throw that much money away? I was too young to understand what I wanted to do, long term anyway. I made this mistake twice by the way. Twice I went to university, twice I tried a different degree and twice I realised it wasn\'t for me. I quit, much to the despair of all my friends and family. However, this was just the beginning and the start of the realisation that really, I could do anything I wanted if I just put my mind to it. It had to be something that got me up in the morning, that was the key. I started my journey back in 2011 receiving-My level 2 gym instructors certification-Level 3 personal trainer certification under NASM -Performance Enhancement specialist under NASM -I under went an intense mentorship with the chairman of the UKSCA at the time -I got a job working for the LTA as a Strength and Conditioning coach working with some nationally talented athletes-I worked as a PT at the same time to many different types of clientele-Got a place on the MSc course at Bolton University for Strength & Conditioning (Based on strong recommendations)- Got a job as a nutrition coach at BodyType Nutrition - Started on the ISSN post grad diploma course - Met a very influential figure in the industry (CEO of BodyPower Nick Orton) and over time was asked to be Editor another company of his, Physique Elite - I have written an online nutrition course for Physique Elite, presented and toured India and the topic of supplements and presented at a number of key seminars. Here I am today, with my own successful nutritional consultancy business.
