ABOUT RICHARD JOHNSTONE

I spend my working life helping companies to identify opportunities and overcome challenges both in the complex corporate tax environment and in their wider business activities. The companies I work with as an Associate Tax Director range from start up North West OMB\'s to international listed entities, specialising in corporate tax compliance, advisory and particularly R&D claims. I am part of our national Innovation Tax Relief team helping companies access R&D tax credits, Patent Box relief and funding for their innovative activities and understanding how we can help their businesses continue to succeed.At BDO we utilise the strength of people locally, nationally and internationally to provide guidance in as many ways possible and help our clients to achieve their goals.
