WORK HISTORY
Police Detective @Law Enforcement Agency Government
In 1997 I completed the police academy and worked as a Patrol Officer until 2001. I applied and was elevated to the Community Action Team (CAT) where we problem solved and executed strategies to deal with crime trends in the community while maintaining community relations. In 2007 I interviewed for and became a detective with the Criminal Intelligence and Homeland Security Section where I investigated hate crimes, criminal organizations, and networked with other law enforcement agencies and private sectors. In 2013 I became a Task Force Officer within the Intelligence Community in the Federal Government. While in this position I obtained a TOP SECRET/ SCI National Security Clearance. Currently I am working National Security cases to include, but not limited to International Terrorism, Domestic Terrorism, destructive devices threats, and enterprise investigations. This position requires me to teach and train law enforcement personnel from recruits to seasoned officers and investigators. As Task Force Officer, I am required to communicate, network, collaborate, and work as a team with partners from federal, local, and state agencies, as well with members from the public and private sectors. I have served in a GS-13 equivalent position since 2013.
