ACT is an education charity and membership association that was established in 2001. It works to transform the lives of children and young people through high quality Citizenship education. It achieves this by providing expert advice, training and support for teachers to develop a sustained, progressive and sequenced curriculum in schools and colleges nationwide. I joined the organisation in 2021 to implement a new commercial strategy that relaunches the membership packages, while also diversifying the charity\'s income streams through consultancy services, build bespoke partnerships and launching a donor strategy. My aim is to grow and build a sustainable business model, while supporting the development of products and services that address our strategic plan and user needs.ACT is going through an exciting phase of development as it grows its network of educators, and seeks to positively influence government policy around Citizenship education. As well as overseeing the day-to-day operational needs of the organisation, I also lead on strategic communications (brand, digital roadmap) and a current research partnership with Middlesex University.
