ABOUT RICHARD JING

Richard Jing, Director of Asset Management, has more than eight years of hospitality industry experience, domestically and overseas in China and Australia. He currently supports full-service asset assignments in four major US markets. His responsibilities include analyzing monthly financial packages and generating client reports, monitoring capital projects, revenue management and sales strategy, analysis and model generation, and reviewing annual budgets. Mr. Jing also plays a crucial role in communicating with and marketing to Chinese clients. Prior to hotelAVE, Mr. Jing was involved in an eight-hotel portfolio while interning at ASAP International Holdings. He performed various asset management assignments that included financial statement analysis and portfolio level benchmarking, conducted various ad-hoc analyses, and assisted with FF & E supplier negotiations to reduce costs. Mr. Jing was trained in various operational roles with Marriott during his time in Australia. Mr. Jing received his Master of Management in Hospitality from Cornell University and his Bachelor of Business in Hotel Management from Griffith University in Australia. He is a member of the Cornell Hotel Society and was Vice President of the Hotel Graduate Students Organization at Cornell University. He is also a certified hotel Administrator (CHA) and industry analyst (CHIA). Mr. Jing is fluent in both English and Mandarin.
