ABOUT RICHARD PAINE

I am a Senior Analytics and Digital Director with nearly 20 years experience. The last 10 years have been specialised in People Analytics. I have built high performing analytics teams, improved the sophistication of analytics to include NLP, predictive modelling and supervised machine learning and developed global reporting service lines. I always ensure commercial value and business outcomes are at the centre of any analytics deliverable. As the head of global analytics teams and as an Enterprise Technology Director, recent highlights include:Future of Work - Impact of Tech and AI:Working with People and Data experts using Gen AI to model potential impacts of technology and AI on the Workforce developing task level impact analysis to understand where opportunities exist for capacity unlock and re-skilling as the workforce develops.Global Digital COVID response:As Digital Service Owner for Safety I managed the global digital response to COVID. The response was agile, remote and cross functional. It reduced costs and increased time to market for digital solutions. Data Lake & Workday Reporting Transformation:Working collaboratively, I led a team of 30 to deliver a Cloudera Big Data solution to underpin a streamlined reporting catalogue based on customer centric design. I designed and implemented a global operating model for People Reporting and Analytics. More recently I\'ve enhanced analytics using Microsoft Power Platforms and Databricks so create the first global people data lake at WPP.Building global capability:Creation of a global People Insights Community to connect HR and Analytics professionals to share best practice, successes and maximise the use of platforms and data. Delivering Workplace Analytics: Developed a low cost global service line based on team collaboration analytics and organisational network analysis to improve productivity, increase time to market and improve processes.
