As a DevOps Engineer with a solution Architect experience, I am part of a seven member DevOps team. My role is to provision a highly scalable enterprise ready application infrastructure to AWS cloud using DevOps automation tools.• Creating the networking environment using AWS Services such as VPC, subnets, ALB, ELB, Auto-scaling, Security group, internet-gateway, Route-Tables, Nat-gateway and Elastic IPs • Configure security groups, network ACLs, Internet Gateways and Elastic IPs to ensure a safe area for the organization in AWS public cloud. • Monitored infrastructure and application logs with Splunk, create dashboard and detector using Signalfx for metrics and thresholds• Provisioned instances and deployed infrastructure using Terraform automation tool.• Maintained git workflow for version control.• Checking what kind of storage class is appropriate for each project in relation to efficiency and cost using S3 storage classes. • Application deployments into production using continuous deployment via Jenkins’s build pipeline also Developed and maintained automated CI/CD pipeline for code deployment using Jenkins and webhook in GitHub. • Configured Jenkins to support various Java builds and Jenkins’s plugins to automate continuous build.• Setting up Jenkins’s master and adding Jenkins slaves to support scalability and agility. • Built Java applications using maven tool. • Kept up to date with latest industry knowledge and news to maintain and improve enterprise and business platforms. • Actively participated in daily scrums & sprint planning, reviews, refinement, and retrospectives
