As the Learning & Development Manager for a portfolio of hotels across the UK, I support with the design and delivery of impactful learning initiatives that support business goals, enhance colleague capability, and drive continuous development at all levels.My role is multifaceted and includes:Learning Needs Analysis: Partnering with hotel leadership and department heads to identify current and future learning needs through regular engagement, performance data, and strategic planning. Training Delivery: Facilitating engaging, tailored training sessions across a wide range of topics including service excellence, team leadership, personal effectiveness, and operational skills. I adapt delivery methods to suit diverse learning styles, ensuring maximum engagement and impact.Content Creation: Designing and developing bespoke learning content, toolkits, and digital resources that reflect the unique needs of each hotel and the evolving hospitality landscape. Leadership Development: Supporting the growth of emerging and existing leaders through targeted development programmes, coaching, and workshops that build capability multiple areas. Programme Design & Delivery: Creating structured development pathways for team members and managers, supporting career progression and succession planning. These programmes blend formal training, experiential learning, mentoring, and self-directed study.L&D Consulting: Acting as a trusted advisor to senior managers and hotel leaders, I provide insights, recommendations, and strategic guidance on learning and development matters, including culture change, performance improvement, and talent retention.Mentoring & Coaching: Offering one-to-one support to colleagues and leaders through structured mentoring and coaching conversations, helping individuals unlock potential, overcome challenges, and achieve personal and professional goals.My approach is collaborative, data-informed, and focused on creating learning cultures.
