To ensure effective and efficient governance, record keeping and compliant processing of insurance and reinsurance contracts.Support the delivery of the annual business plan for the Automotive Protection portfolio.Deliver the underwriting Target Operating Model across the portfolios global HUB\'s ensuring clarity and consistency.Develop comprehensive and commercial business cases for change and engage with relevant stakeholders to gain approval for these.Support the drive towards a culture of innovation by consistently challenging the norm and encouraging continuous improvement.Lead underwriting operational team meetings and/or contribute to other departmental meetings to ensure that information, knowledge and best practices is shared and developed and adhered to.Review and develop operational processes and procedures to comply with all legal and regulatory requirements.Build and maintain strong effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that service delivery meets the business\'s expectations.Support distribution teams across the UK and global HUB\'s with product development, risk management operational processes and IT solutions.Act as an IT focal point and liaison for change funding to ensure the department has effective tools in place to support client needs.Develop a clear communication strategy for underwriting support functions across all global HUB\'s.Motivate and contribute to the development of the team through demonstration of leadership and management best practice behaviors which encourages sharing of knowledge and promoting high performance.Develop and coach the team to achieve targets, to a high standard in order to meet business requirements/service level requirements.
