Senior leadership role for central London property company with £1bn portfolio of circa 100 historic properties. Delivering company and estate wide ESG strategy including the development of a Net Zero target and strategy in line with the Westminster Council Sustainable City Charter, Race to Zero along with Planet Mark certification.Leading the implementation of broader sustainability projects including a biodiversity action plan for the Estate, staff satisfaction and wellbeing and the development of an approach to social sustainability as a business. As part of this, the role requires me to engage and communicate with varying internal and external stakeholders from client, board and senior leaders through to general staff as well as partnering and neighboring organisations, companies and people.Working with a platform called Map Mortar to create digital replicas of estate property in order to establish a strategic approach to net zero retrofitting that identifies the right solutions for each building, calculating carbon impact, estimating costs and providing the ability to model potential initiatives as well as measure actual performance against targets at both building and portfolio level. I am also involved with providing strategic leadership and guidance in improving The Estates overarching vision and operational management. This involves working with the client, board and senior leadership team in the establishment and implementation of standard operating procedures, policies, structure, accountability, and transparency.With The Langham Estate being a signatory to the Westminster Council Sustainable City Charter (SCC), I am part of the SCC Technical Working Group to help its development and support provided to participants to help the transition to net zero.
