Contributing to the company’s success by meeting public Delivery Plan targets, efficiencies, government strategy through measurable Key Performance Indicators.• Responsible for securing business case investment, taking projects through complex governance processes, including National Highways, Department for Transport, HM Treasury, Cabinet Office’s Major Projects Review Groups, Secretary of State, and Chief Secretary to the HM Treasury.• Own the relationship with Government and stakeholders for the south west region, and chair the South West’s Regional Forum, a cross-directorate forum ensuring strategic and operational alignment.• Leading and facilitating Independent Assurance Reviews to offer constructive feedback to Government projects, providing assurance and supportive actions to ensure the successful setup and execution of projects.• Development of bespoke governance and assurance processes to facilitate accelerated delivery, while maintaining rigorous oversight and decision making, to support successful change management and business improvement.
