ABOUT RICHARD HARRISON

I am an experienced leader and manager working in the UK university sector. I have significant expertise in the development of institutional strategy and policy across a range of areas, including in supporting the educational experience of students (including quality management, educational development, registry and student appeals and complaints).I am a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, and in 2014 was awarded Fellowship of the Leadership Foundation for Higher Education. I have worked as a review secretary and now as a reviewer for the Quality Assurance Agency (QAA), as well as as an external adviser for a number of universities and a Professional Statutory and Regulatory Body. I have served on the executive of the Quality Strategy Network, and have been a member of writing/reading groups supporting the development of QAA advisory documentation.
