Planning lawyer specialising in major infrastructure projects. I advise on all aspects of planning matters including strategy, policy, environmental impact assessments, strategic environmental assessments, planning obligations, judicial review and statutory challenges and enforcement.I advise a range of private and public sector organisations in a range of industries, including aviation, development and regeneration, energy and natural resources and sports stadia. I specialise in Development Consent Orders (DCO) for Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects (NSIPs). To date, I have secured 6 DCOs and currently advising on NSIPs for new nuclear build (including the largest in Europe), fossil fuel electricity generation, overhead lines, rail and roads. I am also advising on proposals for the UK\'s national high level nuclear waste repository. I also advise on some of the UK\'s largest and high profile projects in aviation, regeneration and sports stadia. I advised on one of the longest running planning inquiries of 2011 in respect of a runway extension and new terminal building. I advised on all planning matters for the London 2012 Olympic Park and Olympic Village and I am currently advising on the legacy communities development for the Olympic Park.
