ABOUT RICHARD GERAGHTY-NORTH
I am currently the Engineering Product Owner and Platform Lead Engineer for Defender 27MY Accessories Program. I oversee a team of 15 engineers primarily located in JLR China with 2 in the UK. I also have excellent overall JLR product knowledge with a bias towards powertrain and chassis systems, which I have developed through my previous roles as a retailer technical support engineer and a product coach for XE/XF powertrain. I have a diploma in NVQ level 3 light vehicle maintenance and repair from BMW group academy, and I am skilled in process improvement, problem solving, and team building. I am actively interested in opportunities internationally, focusing on China, Germany, and North America within the automotive sector. I am currently learning Chinese with intentions of temporarily or permanently working in China.
