I have worked in a variety of Guardian Group Underwriting related functions starting with Renewal Underwriting in 1981-83, Group LTD in 1984-85, and moved to Spokane, WA to help start up the Western Regional Office in the role of Supervisor of New Business Underwriting (throught 1996). Spent 1997 through handling Group Ops related functions in a market model environment responsible for Plan Installation & Maintenance, Adminsitration, and Underwriting furcntions for group up to 150 lives. Spent through January 2013 as the Regional Underwriting Manager handling case sizes ranging from 2 - 499 lives. As of 2/13, assigned a new role as an Underwriting Consultant in Group\'s National Underwriting Policy & Procedure unit helping to support Guardian\'s Group Underwriting organization. Have been very fortunate to have worked with our West Coast Sales region since 1986. As Jim Morrison once sang ~ The West is the Best!
